Start It Up Athens! Business Grant Competition

Sell us on your business idea for Athens County and win a $10,000 grant.

Whether you are starting up or growing an existing business, you could win a $10,000 grant from Athens Business Remixed to launch the idea right here in Athens County in 2013.

Are you an entrepreneur looking to start and grow your business?

Submit your business idea in the form of a YouTube video (3-5 minutes in length). Creativity and passion are welcomed and encouraged. Share your video with us and then share it with your friends. The number of views of the video will factor into the final decision by a panel of judges. Read official contest details and then contest rules for more on judging parameters.

Deadline to enter is November 10th. You will be expected to present your business idea formally to the panel of judges on December 12, 2012. The winning business will be announced on January 9th of 2013.
